I was asked today, “What’s your idea of a perfect day?” Immediately, visions of being outside, surrounded by nature, passed through my mind. When I sit, close my eyes, and breathe, meditating on this question, I can feel the ocean breeze on my face, I smell the scents of the enormous pines mingled with the freshness of the moody waters along the PNW coast.
Rarely in our busy lives do we have our “perfect day.” Life responsibilities, stressors, to-do lists, and financial boundaries all take precedent in our daily lives. Let me ask you, is this outcome surviving or thriving?
You can seek to Thrive! Consciously deciding to have a life well-lived!
Take a moment, a breath. Reach out to a friend. Sit on the back porch. Put up a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign and take a nap. Tiny moments. Whatever nourishes your soul.
Your life has the potential to be as deeply nourishing as you desire it to be.
